Things We Saw Today: Tom Holland Has a Mean Chimpanzee Impression

  • Black Mirror fans, rejoice (okay maybe not too much). A brand new series of stories are headed your way in a brand new high-tech format that you may not have heard of: paper! Now you can undergo an existential crisis on the go! (via IndieWire)
  • Diane Keaton is apparently very aware of the fact that she looks like The Babadook, a horror monster who has seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to a mistaken (?) Netflix classification. (via Vulture)

Dan Stevens, whose work I’m growing to enjoy by the day, just released Kill Switch to select theaters. It’s a sci-fi movie he shot with writer-director Tim Smit in just four days. It’s told completely in first person view, a bit like a video game or Cloverfield. (via The Hollywood Reporter)

  • Beyoncé just announced the first batch of recipients of her Formation Scholarship, the goal of which is to “encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident.” Congrats to the winners! (via Blavity)
  • The Girl Scouts announced that in 2018, they’ll be awarding badges for cybersecurity. That’s pretty badass and forward thinking, don’t you think? Protect your identity, kids! (What a weird future we live in.) (via CNN)

Hey! We totally think you should check out Mad Women, this hilarious comedy that pokes fun at issues of gender parity. This episode is centered on the oft-rightly-criticized entertainment industry.

What’d you see today, folks?
